Valid point re 16. As I recall, I wanted to open the 5th row for my rook. Obviously I concentrated on doing that and not on the best way to do that. Your move is better.
I like the pawn mate at the end. Good to see the serfs and peons having a major role in bringing the king to his demise.
Actually taking the rook after the knight fork on nc7 probably isn't best. Two scenarios w/o taking the rooks are 16. Nc7 Nxe4 17. Rf5+ Kc4 18 P-b3+ Kc3 19 Bd2+ Kb2 20 Qc1#
Are you coming to the library on Thursday, April 14th?
THE TWINSBURG CHESS CLUB Twinsburg, Ohio
A chess club for all ages and levels. We play casual games every Saturday. We meet at the Twinsburg Public Library Summer hours 10:00 - 2:00 Non-Summer Hours 2:00 - 6:00.
This site is dedicated to the exploration of chess. I plan to post games that have been played at our club and present them in a format that will allow all of us to review and analyze our games. Feel free to email the moves from your games and I will post them. Just include who played white and who played black and I will put it into a viewer.
This way we can all get a chance to revisit our games and provide each other feedback and learn from each other.
Nice game. It's nice to see the "weak" pawn execute mate! I did see an improvement on move 16.Nc7 forks the two rooks.

We must be improving to spot mates in four and five. I still have trouble with my mate in three books! :)
